Professional Development
We schedule comprehensive orientation programs for each new expert on company culture, our core values, and our laboratory and document management systems.
Forensic Document Examiners Pty. Ltd. has a thorough and successful performance management strategy. Experts receive regular feedback on performance. There is a strong focus on learning and development, with comprehensive development programs tailored to the individual needs of each expert. We promote continued education, and support experts in undertaking additional training courses related to their particular area of expertise.
Ongoing training is available for experts through in-house training, sponsorship of further study, and individual mentoring.
Experts with particular expertise present workshops and seminars on topical areas of forensic document examination – and our Research & Development team engages providers to teach specialist skills in such areas as negotiation, communication, mediation and time management. We also provide regular training on new computer programs or other company-wide developments, should the need arise.
We offer temporary transfer opportunities to our interstate offices. Where appropriate, experts are able to move between offices and are encouraged to gain a variety of experience on different matters and projects through secondment development opportunities. In addition, we support experts who wish to travel and work overseas for a period of time.
